Generation Clubs

 Youth Investors | Generation X | Boomers | Classic Seniors

Youth Investors*

Early Bird Savings Club - up to 12 yrs. of age

The following share products are offered to both the Early Bird Savings Club and the Teen Club (13-17 yrs. of age)

  • Special Savings with a minimum of $1000.00 secured in regular shares
  • 12 month Certificate of Deposit* (CD) with a minimum deposit of $250.00.
  • School Savings Program - From pre-school through high school age - includes school visits to collect deposits.  Deposits are always accepted in the credit union offices.  Due to privacy issues, all new accounts will be open in the credit union offices. Proper ID/Social Security Cards are needed when a new account is opened. 
  • This program includes a yearly drawing.
  • Incentive to be a Winner!

Additional Teen Club Benefits

  • ATM (16-17 yr.olds) & Debit cards offered (17 yr. olds)/Checking Accounts with qualified adult signer. 
  • Ask about Teen Loan with a qualified adult co-applicant

  • Club benefits are reviewed annually.

                                                Generation X

At GSCU Generation X is defined as the group of people between 18-35 years of age.  This generation is vastly different from the previous one.  These particular individuals in this age group are currently going to college, starting their careers, getting married, purchasing their first vehicle and homes, and beginning to start their own families. 

Currently, Generation X members make up about 23% of our credit union membership.  We offer a wide selection of products and services designed to assist you in your ever-changing life that can help you plan for your life's milestones and events.  Your credit union would like to extend the following benefit to it's Gen X'ers:

  • 1st GSCU Auto Loan
    $25.00 Visa gift card (min.$5,000.00 loan)
  • Club benefits are reviewed annually.

Boomers
(Ages 36 - 54 years of age)

The GSCU "Baby Boomers" are seventy seven million strong and represent 30% of our membership.
Boomers have ambitious expectations for active lifestyles, and GSCU is here to help lend more than just a hand.

The follow benefit is extened to this club:

  • Refinance Auto Loan (Min. $5000.00 from another Financial Institution)
    $25 VISA gift card
  • Club benefits are reviewed annually.

Classic Seniors

GSCU is proud of its senior membership, and to honor those members we have established a new Seniors Club.

Our Classic Senior Club members receive additional club benefits in addition to the multiple benefits already received as a GSCU members.

To be members of our Classic Seniors Club, you must be at least 55 years of age.

The benefits of the Classic Seniors Club you would receive are:

  • FREE "GSCU" style personal drafts (as needed - one box per order)
  • NO FEES on CuMoney Visa Travel Money cards, DTE Utility bill payments, photocopies
  • Club benefits are reviewed annually.
